Y106080TFT - Exhaust Muffler Termignoni Titanium Homologated YAMAHA R1 (2015)

The FORCE silencer for the new Yamaha YZF R1 is made of carbon and titanium cuNb, the same used by the Racing Department Termignoni to build racing exhaust systems. The cuNb is a special titanium alloy which has excellent formability at room temperature, high mechanical strength, even after the 600 ° C er exist to oxidation above 800 ° C.

This allows to reduce appreciably the weight, while still providing a high level of performance and duration of the discharge, much higher compared to a system realized with a commercial titanium alloy. The silencer, interchangeable with the original and available with carbon or titanium sheath, is approved and features a new dedicated design.

Associated with the final body without catalyst (Y106CF000T Code) it provides better delivery at all engine speeds and a power increase of 4 hp at 13,800 revs / min.
