Built from sandblasted high-grade stainless steel, the specially profiled muffler outer sleeve and link pipe offer durability and corrosion resistance, and the carbon-fibre end cap adds a lightweight finish. The design features a newly created heatshield, embossed with the Akrapovič logo to enhance the visual impact, with a monochrome Akrapovič sticker on the muffler completing the look. The use of lightweight material results in a weight saving of 22% (1.3 kg) over the standard stock version.
Performance gains show an increase of 0.7 kW (1.0 hp) at 7,700 rpm and a torque boost of 0.8 Nm at 6,500 rpm, based on in-house dyno testing against the standard stock exhaust. This product delivers a deep sound for an unique aural experience. It is EC/ECE type approved, and installation is plug-and-play, requiring no remapping. It is Euro 5+ compliant with a catalytic converter included in the package.
