S-K6SO7-HZC/3 - Exhaust Muffler Akrapovic Carbon Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R (09-24)

The first step on the exhaust tuning ladder, this system uses race-proven materials, increases performance, and meets Euro5 EC/ECE type-approval. Handmade carbon-fibre muffler outer sleeve, end cap, and heat shield – supplied to cover the exhaust valve in the link pipe – with a high-grade stainless-steel inner structure and link pipe. Weight is reduced by 2.5 kg against the standard stock system, and power is enhanced by 1.4 kW (1.9 hp) at 9,000 rpm, with a torque increase of 1.7 Nm at 7,500 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič dyno and compared to a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R equipped with a standard stock system. The exhaust is a simple plug-and-play system with no remapping, and it produces a deep and vivid sound.

Options include a carbon-fibre muffler bracket and a link pipe for further performance upgrade and for use on closed circuits and race tracks.

Fitting of the optional link pipe will invalidate the EC/ECE certificate for the Slip-On Line (Carbon).
