AXIAL DISTORSION CONTROL SYSTEM​

The Axial Distortion Control System for feet works thanks to an articulated structure integrated into the boot that serves a triple purpose: it protects against sprains, it reduces intensity of impact by distributing it over the structure‘s entire surface, and it stops objects from entering the shoe.

SUIT TO BOOT FASTENING SYSTEM​

Suit To Boot Fastening System is an exclusive Dainese patent. This technology allows for the boots to be worn under a dedicated suit. It has been developed to guarantee the best level of safety, as it reduces the number of garment parts that might get caught in the motorcycle during a fall. The technology also ensures better aerodynamics and comfort thanks to the reduction of the boots‘ volume and the increased adherence of the rider‘s leg to the vehicle.

METAL INSERTS​

The use of metal inserts made of titanium, steel, aluminum or special alloys offers greater abrasion resistance in the joint areas of the body, reduces the risk of dangerous twists and/or tumbling during a fall, and distributes impact force over a wider surface area.

D-STONE™​

D-Stone™ is an extremely tough material mainly used for Dainese boots and textile clothing. D-Stone is made of high density twisted nylon with elasticated inserts faced with nylon. This creates an armored weave effect that offers exceptional comfort characterized by high resistance to abrasion, damage, and tear, with a performance comparable to leather.

The S1 version S1 (without resin coating) features Protector treatment. The S1P1 version, in addition to Protector treatment, also features a breathable, windproof polyurethane resin coating. Protector treatment grants the fabric excellent water- and oil-repellent properties. The material does not require ironing to re-acquire its properties: air drying it after washing is sufficient. This treatment was developed thanks to the application of nanotechnology to textile finishing.

GROUNDTRAX® OUTSOLES​

Groundtrax® outsoles are engineered to ensure stability, grip and traction both on the footpegs and once off the saddle. Thanks to the design of lugs and grooves, as well as the choice of the rubber compound, the wear-resistance and self-cleaning of the tread are maximized. Soles feature an asymmetric design, specifically on the gear shifter and brake areas, to provide an higher precision during the ride.
