The Steering Damper Eliminator will take care of the annoying FI light when removing the OEM electronic steering damper on modern sportbikes.
Highlights
Proper solution
Eliminate the on-coming FI light when replacing the OEM steering damper with a better quality, aftermarket unit.
Plug ‘n Go
No cutting and splicing needed. Just connect it and you’re ready to go. It can’t get any easier than this.
Tough design
The product comes in a rugged, 100% weatherproof housing and with a 2-year replacement warranty.
Introduction
If you are serious about racing then the factory electronic steering damper must be replaced too. However, disconnecting the factory damper from the bike’s main harness will instantly result in the FI light coming on (which could mask some serious bike/engine related faults). This is where the SD Eliminator comes handy – just plug it in to the factory damper’s connector and you’re ready to go!
(After disconnecting the factory electronic unit, we recommend using a quality aftermarket steering damper from a reputable brand/supplier (like HyperPro, Ohlins, etc)!
