On- and off road Helm

Whether on- or off-road, the HORNET ADV 06 is the ideal companion for motorbike adventures and travel. Its helmet shield offers stable and durable glare protection. Thanks to its aerodynamically optimised shape, this visor generates minimal lift even at higher speeds. Superbly balanced, the helmet relieves the rider's neck muscles even on longer rides or in rougher terrain.

Safety

A 6-layer composition of glass fibres, organic fibres and high-performance fibre materials forms the basis of the AIM+ outer shell (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus) of the SHOEI HORNET ADV 06. Together with a polystyrene inner liner composed of several elements with different absorption capacities, this outer shell offers optimum impact protection with a relatively low overall weight of the helmet.

The standard clear visor with a large field of vision offers protection from the weather, dust and stone chipping and can be exchanged tool-free thanks to a quick-change mechanism. The anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lens included with the helmet ensures a clear view even in adverse weather conditions.

The chin strap with double D-lock is easily adjustable and keeps the helmet safely in place.

The EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System) facilitates the removal of the cheek pads in an emergency and thus enables gentle helmet removal.

The SHOEI HORNET ADV 06 meets the requirements of the test standard for motorbike helmets ECE-R 22.06.

Wearing Comfort

4 different outer shell sizes (XS-S | M | L | XL-XXL) make the SHOEI HORNET ADV 06 a compact companion for motorbike adventures and enable an optimal proportion of helmet to rider size. Its good balance, relatively low weight and the hardly noticeable lift of the helmet shield relieve the neck muscles, on endless highways as well as on dusty tracks.

The center pad, designed for an effective ventilation, as well as the tree-dimensional preformed cheek pad and the chinstrap cover are completely removable and washable. Cheek pads and center pads in different thicknesses are available for individual adjustment of the helmet.

Detachable ear pads contribute effectively to noise reduction.

Recesses in the ear area allow the mounting of an intercom system.

Ventilation

4 adjustable air intakes and 4 air outlets of the SHOEI HORNET ADV 06 contribute effectively to the air exchange and thus reduce noticeable the temperature and humidity inside of the helmet. The result is a pleasant interior climate, on the highway as well as on the track.

Aerodynamic

An integrated spoiler enhances the aerodynamic performance of the SHOEI HORNET ADV 06. The perforated helmet shield integrated into the aerodynamic concept offers excellent protection against glare, dirt and stone chipping while minimizing wind resistance.

Optional Parts

For the SHOEI HORNET ADV 06 visors in a range of tints and mirror coatings, are available and can be used under consideration of the ECE homologation regulations. The helmet is originally equipped with a clear visor of type CNS-2, which is available in variable tinting versions. In all visors of this type mist-retarding PINLOCK®EVO lenses can be attached, of which one is included with the helmet.

In the SHOEI spare parts range cheek pads and center pads in different thicknesses and sizes are available for replacing the original pads or for individual adjustment of the helmet. Just as a chin strap cover, a breath guard, and a chin curtain.

Included in delivery

The SHOEI HORNET ADV 06 comes included with a PINLOCK®EVO lens for using with the visor type CNS-2 the helmet is originally equipped with, also with mounting pins for replacement. Furthermore a breath guard, a chin curtain, a SHOEI logo sticker, an original SHOEI helmet bag for a careful storage of the helmet and a silicon oil for the maintenance of the visor beading and mechanism is included with the original scope of delivery.
