The Power Commander III USB was introduced in 2003 and uses the same "direct injector control" technology as the PCIII. The USB port allows a simple and instant connection to the computer. This model also comes with an expansion port for additional modules available in the future - for example for advance.

Power Commander III USB Features

Immediate communication with the new USB connection
The new Power Commander USB connects instantly and automatically to the Software Power Commander Control Center once it is installed. Simply "power" the drive and connect the USB cable provided by your computer to the USB PCIII.

Automatically receive mapping during connection As
soon as you connect the USB PCIII to your computer and start the software, the mapping on the USB PCIII will be displayed.

Storing notes on the USB PCIII The USB PCIII stores the notes from the mapping.
This makes it easier to find the exact map that is uploaded to it. Notes, like the map itself, are automatically displayed on the software when you connect the drive to your computer.

Individual Adjustment for Cylinder
All USB PCIII units have a "cylinder trim" adjustment function that allows the user to adjust the gasoline mapping in a different percentage on one or more cylinders. In addition, for more experienced users, the USB PCIII allows individual mapping for each individual cylinder. With this mode, each cylinder can be individually mapped by intervening on the entire range of Motor Revolutions and Throttle Opening.

Enhanced "map comparison" utility
The PCIII USB software now allows you to compare two map files without the Power Commander being connected. The files can be compared on the numeric display as well as on the new Graphic display.

Simplified "button adjustment" mode
The procedure for changing the buttons has been simplified with the introduction of a "startup delay". This allows the user to have more time between starting the engine and accessing the "button adjustment" mode. The intervention range of the buttons is now shown in the software. Simply connect the unit to your computer and press one of the buttons. Their ranges will light up on the screen.

"Expansion port" for future upgrades and accessories
The "expansion port" allows an easy connection of additional accessories such as the electronic gearbox or the advance module.

Powered 9V adapter
Each USB PCIII is supplied with a powered adapter that allows the user to program or dialogue with the Power Commander on their desk without being installed on the bike.

Acceleration pump
It is possible to adjust: A) The amount of gasoline to be added, B) The number of engine revolutions of duration of the effect, C) The sensitivity of the accelerator movement for which the acceleration pump is activated.

Power Commander III USB - BMW Motorcycle

Power Commander for BMW offers the usual fine-tuning accuracy, combined with the ability to set the reference stoichiometric ratio for constant gas operating areas. The original narrow-band oxygen sensor is replaced by a more sophisticated 5-wire Bosch LSU4 broadband sensor included in the kit. The specific software allows the user to make adjustments in the self-regulation area of the original "close loop" system and optimize the original carburation. Outside this area, adjustments will take place according to the classic Power Commander scheme, with the possibility, on the bench, to use the "Tuning Link" software for mapping. An analog tool to display the stoichiometric ratio in real time is available as an accessory.

Power Commander III USB - Harley Davidson

The Harley-Davidson bikes are unique, and unique – for features - is also the Power Commander line designed for them. In addition to the functions present on the other PCIIIUSBs, which allow a complete adjustment of the fuel calibrations (+/- 100%), an Ignition Management Module is incorporated on the units specific to Harley-Davidson. The advance setting can be varied up to +/- 10° with respect to the standard setting based on a detailed engine revolutions/throttle opening matrix.

The Power Commander unit for Harley-Davidson then includes the Rev X-tend function, which can be enabled to increase the speed of operation of the speed limiter up to 6200 rpm without requiring any intervention on the original control unit. Further increases are possible free of charge by sending the appropriate request form.

For deeply processed engines, the Start Fuel function allows you to vary the fuel flow rate during engine start-up, making it easier to operate. Like the other Power Commander, the PCIIIUSB for Harley-Davidson allows separate mapping of each cylinder, both for fuel and ignition. It therefore allows the preparer to better set each individual cylinder, regardless of the type of parts used.

In addition to the existing range of Power Commander accessories, Dynojet has created two specific components for the development of the Europe 2007 specific Twin Cam models, both available separately at a really attractive price:
