Wide Band Commander 2

STOICHIOMETRIC RATIO DIGITAL READER

The Wide Band Commander 2 ( WB2 ) is a universal "stand alone" data acquisition device that allows the stoichiometric ratio ( AFR ) to be detected during engine operation together with the engine rpm (RPM) and throttle position (TPS).

For its precision, versatility and ease of use it is one of the most widely used data acquisition tools in the world and recommended by different data acquisition system manufacturers.

This tool can be used on 4-stroke vehicles powered by petrol, diesel, methane, ethanol, LPG, alcohol installed on cars, motorcycles, trucks, ultralight vehicles, marine vehicles.

The code E15-7024 (base module + Display POD-300) is the only one that allows data to be stored.

The code E15-7003 (includes DAQ cable) is not complete with POD-300 and is designed for use in combination with separate control units or an analog or digital instrument that is designed to accommodate.

It is also possible to pair the POD-300 Display.

The Output O2 narrow band function allows you to provide a lambda narrow band probe emulation output signal. This function is provided, for example, to be able to remove the original lambda probe and exploit the existing hole, and provide a useful signal to the original control unit. This output signal is programmable.

Note: The management/programming of this function requires the POD-300 display.

It is possible to connect an analogue or digital instrument for displaying the AFR value in real time on the instrument panel.

By connecting the WB2 to a Power Commander 5 (PCV) control unit, you can take advantage of the Autotune auto-mapping function.

It will be necessary to add to the kit:
n.1 – CAN cable connecting to the PCV
n.1 – CAN Terminal Connector

By connecting the WB2 to a PCV unit it is possible to set the POD-300 Display to acquire the Turns/Motor (RPM) and Accelerator Position (TPS) signal from the PCV itself without having to connect the two inputs of the WB2.
