CB-B13T1 - Engine Protection Bars Akrapovic Titanium BMW R 1300 GS (23-25)

This product is constructed from sandblasted 25 mm titanium tubes for lower weight and improved corrosion resistance. It is approximately 40% lighter than comparable stainless-steel versions, but it still offers the same high-strength mechanical properties. It weighs 3.02 kg, making it one of the lightest protection bar sets on the market for the BMW R 1300 GS / R 1300 GS Adventure. Developed to protect the motorbike’s engine, the construction is partly fixed to the chassis to distribute any impact. It is designed to integrate with the bike’s components and has been fully evaluated through numerous tests and deformation analyses. Precisely engineered with the Akrapovič attention to detail, this protection bar set has no restriction on the lean angle and it meets ABE type approval.

Carbon-fibre protection elements 2.5 mm thick provide structural strength and give the end user the option to change these parts if they are damaged. It is precision TIG welded and equipped with laser-cut and finely machined 10 mm flanges to provide a perfect fit and strength. The set is finished with an engraved Akrapovič logo, with the word Titanium prominently displayed to emphasize the use of this material. When fitted, the protection bar set offers the option to attach extra bags and fog lights or spotlights from BMW and other manufacturers to the bars.

This product fits BMW R 1300 GS Adventure and is also compatible with BMW Option 719.
