Remote Control Indicator Light HYP-E

You can easily attach the remote control to your handlebars with a silicone ring. Two ergonomic buttons indicate the respective flashing direction. You can activate the indicator of your choice with just one press of the corresponding button. This way you clearly show other road users where you want to turn.

The remote control is ready in seconds to control the light on your helmet. If the battery is empty, you can easily recharge it using the USB-C charging cable supplied – an LED indicator shows you the charging status.

Technologies

• Wireless ease of use: Use this remote control to activate and control the indicator light on the ABUS HYP-E helmet model and the HYP-E ACE and HYP-E BL.ACE variants.
• Increased visibility: Light signals reliably communicate your intention to turn to other road users.
• Easy mounting: You can easily attach the remote control to any standard bicycle handlebar (25.4 mm diameter) using the rubber ring supplied.
• User-friendly operation: Ergonomic buttons with directional indication ensure intuitive use.
• Permanently ready to use: The remote control is activated via the helmet's radio signal and uses LEDs to show when the indicator is activated.
• Acoustic signal: A signal tone on the helmet informs you of the duration of the flashing process, similar to in a car – if the acoustic signal bothers you, you can switch it off.
• Automatic timeout: The flashing process ends after 40 seconds or if the buttons are pressed again.
• Subtle light animation: Instead of hectic flashing, a flowing light animation on the back of the helmet indicates which direction you intend to turn.
• Running time and charging time: Depending on use, the battery lasts 2 to 4 months. It charges fully in approx. 2.5 hours (can vary depending on usage behaviour and weather conditions).
• Rechargeable remote control: A USB-C charging cable is included in the scope of delivery.
• Reliable communication: The light and remote control communicate via a 2.4 GHz radio signal based on OXI® wireless technology.
