The latest evolution of the best-selling Dainese Racing jacket, conceived for all motorcycle riders traveling in good weather and in summer, the Racing 5 Leather Jacket is the motorcycle jacket with a regular and sporty fit made of fine 1.2 mm Tutu cowhide.
A focus on ergonomics led to studies on riding positions, in order to perfect details designed to reduce pressure on the neck, such as the Veloce Racing Neck collar, and to guarantee maximum comfort and mobility by integrating wide S1 bi-elastic fabric as well as adjustment systems on the hips.
Riding comfort blends with superior levels of protection. With EN 17092 class AA standard certification, the Racing 5 jacket features composite protectors certified to CE Level 2 standard on elbows and shoulders, as well as replaceable aluminum inserts on the shoulders ensuring a more natural sliding motion in the event of a fall and a pocket designed to accommodate type G back and chest protectors.
As a result of studies on correct fit, the jacket can be comfortably worn over the Dainese Smart Air airbag device without the need to purchase a larger size. The sleeves’ suitable fit prevents protectors from shifting to the wrong area during a fall, therefore always ensuring maximum protection for riders. In addition, the loops fastening the Smart Air to the jacket allow riders to put them on and take them off with a single movement, so that the airbag always maintains the correct position under the jacket. 
This garment’s level of functionality in any weather condition is enhanced by a practical internal waterproof pocket where riders can store their electronic devices in case of bad weather, as well as by air vents on the chest and air extraction zippers at the sides in case of sessions at high temperatures.

How to take measurements?

Chest

Chest circumference
The measurement of the chest in its maximum extension during normal breathing, measured with the person standing, passing the measuring tape horizontally around the torso over the scapula bones (the shoulder blades) and just under the armpits.

Arm

Sleeve length from shoulder (arm straight)
The distance from the most protruding point of the shoulder to the wrist (on the end of the Ulna bone), measured with the arm relaxed at the person's side.

Neck

Neck circumference
The circumference measured at 2 cm below the Adam's apple in the front, and at the 7th cervical vertebra in the back (i.e. NOT horizontally).

Waist

Waist circumference
The circumference measured horizontally around the waist, just above the highest point of each of the iliac crest bones, during normal breathing, on the person standing, with a relaxed abdomen.
