The Dynojet Ignition Module is an additional accessory for selected Power Commander 3 USB models. Allows you to vary the engine start advance of your bike.
The Dynojet Ignition Module is connected to the Power Commander 3 USB via the expansion port and communicates via CAN interface. As in the case of Power Commander, the Dynojet Ignition Module uses original connectors to connect in line with the original ignition system so no cutting or modification is necessary.
The Dynojet Ignition Module uses "Direct Coil Control" technology that allows a wide variation in degrees of the ignition advance. In the Power Commander Control Center Software the user has the possibility to advance or delay the advance curve up to 10 degrees depending on the engine revolutions and throttle position. The Ignition Module technology also allows you to vary the advance individually for each cylinder.
The Ignition Module is supplied standard with no advance variations set in the map. Given the differences between the motorcycle settings of the various countries, the gasoline used and the engine modifications, it is considered safer to leave the advance unchanged for safety reasons. For Italy, it is possible to request from Fast By Ferracci Europe s.r.l. the modified ignition map by providing the serial number of the Power Commander and the Ignition Module. For the best specific ignition map for your bike, Dynojet and Fast By Ferracci recommend taking your bike to the nearest Authorized Tuning Center. These centers have the test bench equipment necessary to optimize the performance of the Ignition Module.
On motorcycles with 8-injector injection systems that could not previously benefit from the electronic transmission, the Ignition Module now allows this function. You can now connect the Dynojet Electronic Gearbox to the Ignition Module expansion port.
