X-803 RS ULTRA CARBON

NERS - NOLAN EMERGENCY RELEASE SYSTEM
This system, whose patent is pending, allows rescue personnel to remove the cheek pads from the helmet while it is worn by the motorcyclist, simply by pulling the red tapes positioned in the front area of the pads themselves.
ROTATIONAL IMPACT TEST
X-803 RS ULTRA CARBON has passed, at the Newton Srl laboratory, the tests relating to the rotational impacts to which the racing helmets used, among others, in MotoGP and SBK races are subjected. Newton Srl is an independent test laboratory, recognized as suitable by the Italian Ministry of Transport for the purposes of homologating helmets and visors, in accordance with the ECE / ONU 22-05 regulation.
Compared to its predecessor (model X-802RR), X-803 has been improved in terms of lateral visibility. Consequently, it is able to offer greater driving comfort and increased active safety.
Device that allows the visor lock function (to prevent accidental opening at high speeds) or demisting of the visor at low speed or in the event of a stop (by opening it at a minimum).
ADDITIONAL DARK GREEN VISOR
In addition to the original equipment neutral (Clear) visor, the helmet is accompanied by a Dark Green visor. This is intended exclusively for daytime use at circuits and in particular light conditions (for example, very bright). In such cases, it can reduce eye strain compared to the neutral (Clear) visor. Attention: the Dark Green visor has light transmittance values below the limits set by the ECE / ONU 22-05 regulation and, therefore, is not approved.
INTERNAL VISOR RESISTANT TO PINLOCK® FOGGING
The patented adjustment system allows you to adjust the draft of the Pinlock®, acting from the outside of the visor, without having to disassemble it. The silicone profile allows, firstly, to increase the air gap between the outside and inside, thus further reducing the risk of fogging and, secondly, to reduce the risk of scratches to the visor.
RACETRACK AERODYNAMIC SPOILER (RAS)
It is an aerodynamic appendage developed with the contribution of the Nolan and X-lite official riders, as well as the result of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) studies and wind tunnel tests.
The conformation of its upper part reduces the aerodynamic resistance of the helmet and improves its stability at high speeds in the riding position under the hull, especially in continuity with any rear appendage present on the rider's suit; the conformation of its side parts, on the other hand, improves the stability of the helmet at high speeds when exiting the windshield. It can be removed from the helmet according to the conditions of use and / or driving situations, for example in the presence of a passenger.
ADJUSTABLE STABILITY DEVICE (ASD)
If the RAS is removed from the helmet, the upper and side fins, available in the box, must be fitted in its place. These make up the ASD (Adjustable Stability Device), which is an aerodynamic spoiler with an adjustable profile. The ASD optimizes the aerodynamic behavior of the helmet while driving, stabilizing it at high speeds, and favors the extraction of hot air from inside the helmet itself. Its profile, therefore its aerodynamic capacity, can be adjusted in the two available configurations, to better adapt to different driving positions and styles.
INTERIOR COMFORT PADDING "CARBON FITTING RACING EXPERIENCE" WITH INNOVATIVE NET CONSTRUCTION
The internal comfort padding is made with active carbon filaments, a thermoregulatory, antistatic and dissipative element. The cap, with an innovative mesh construction, facilitates the diffusion of air in the upper part of the head which, in this way, is kept cool and dry. The internal padding also consists of side cheek pads and lining strips, all completely removable and washable.
LPC - LINER POSITIONING CONTROL (patent pending)
This system, whose patent is pending, allows you to adjust the position of the cap which, for the same size of the helmet, allows you to change the attitude of the helmet on the head, adapting it to different needs and anatomical conformations.
MONOBLOCK CHEEK PADS
The internal foam padding of the cheek pads is designed in such a way as to offer uniformity of pressures and consistency of performance over time compared to those offered by traditional padding. Furthermore, they can be extracted from the respective fabric covers to facilitate washing of the latter.
It is available in two versions: one, original equipment, gives the product a fine finish; the other, supplied (in the box), is clearly inspired by the masks
from rain in use in racing and is, therefore, more suitable in order to limit fogging.
