RX-7V RC
Without a doubt the Arai RX-7V RC represents the pinnacle of helmet technology. Carefully hand-built by expert craftsmen to create an extraordinary helmet in which all Arai's know-how, experience and years of development and research are present. From the VAS (Variable Axis System) technology which offers a much wider and smoother shell area above the SNELL test line while greatly improving the helmet's important bounce property, to the meticulously applied layers of precious carbon fiber, it all adds up. to the creation of a truly exceptional helmet.
General
Outer shell: RC (Racing Carbon)
The exclusive technology developed in-house by Arai for the GP-6RC F-1 helmet uses carbon fibers, also used on the latest generation of commercial aircraft, combined with Arai's exclusive resins and reinforced with a specially created super fiber band to disperse the energy loads laterally across the surface of the shell. In the frontal area, this band increases the strength of the shell without adding thickness or weight and allows the use of a thinner EPS liner which greatly improves the upward field of vision - which is especially appreciated in a tucked position!
Variable Axis System (VAS)
With the VAS system, the position of the visor mechanism is lowered, offering an average of 24mm of extra space in the temple area, looking for an ideal shape as smooth and round as possible that increases the ability to divert energy. This results in a larger portion of the shell being smoother and more durable along and above the Snell standard test line.
Ventilation
RX7-V Ventilation
The ventilation system that combines the air intakes to the Diffusers, guarantees the maintenance of an optimal temperature, in any condition of use. The front air intake guarantees an 11% higher inlet air flow compared to the previous generation and thanks to the opening / closing system it is even easier to operate. The Diffusers have been stretched by 20mm and are capable of introducing 19% more air, working in concert with the Air Wing to stabilize the helmet at high speeds. The removable chin strap helps to eliminate turbulence and, thanks to the Venturi effect, maximizes the supply of fresh air to the chin guard air intake.
Free Flow System (FFS) - Free Flow System
Creates a flow of air inside the helmet that reduces noise and turbulence caused by the passage of air, increasing the extraction of hot air.
Side Brow Vent
The enhanced air extractor in the area of the visor opening passes through a dedicated channel up to the side air intake 6, improving efficiency and reducing noise.
Front ventilation
Upper central air intake - intake
The system guarantees an 11% greater air flow compared to the previous one. The larger button simplifies opening and closing operations. The system has three positions, closed half open and fully open, to regulate the flow of air and prevent water from entering when closed.
Diffuser system
The diffusers, 20mm longer and straighter, offer better aerodynamics and, together with the Air Wing system, increase stability. Compared to previous diffusers, the efficiency of the air intakes increased by 19%. The vents not only offer greater adjustment options with three positions, closed, half open and fully open, but also help improve sealing to reduce wind noise and water ingress.
Front air intakes extended to the temple area
Fresh air can enter directly into the forehead area and temples without the need to drill holes in this critical area of the shell and in the impact liner.

The three-position ventilation hole on the chin guard helps demist the visor and ensures fresh air for the user.
Rear ventilation
Neck air exhaust
To improve the escape of hot air from the inside. Increases the effect of ventilation in the lower part of the helmet.
Rear ventilation: Side air outlets
They create low pressure behind the rear ventilation hole for better hot air extraction. Integrated into the shell for better aerodynamics, they reduce noise and avoid vibrations due to speed. Inside, a small foam rubber barrier helps absorb and reduce excessive noise, without compromising the effectiveness of ventilation.
Aerodynamics
Spoiler in the chin area
Helps minimize wind noise and promotes the extraction of hot air from the face area. It offers an additional system for diverting airborne debris from the neck area.
Adjustable patented Air Wing® system
Tested on the track and designed to significantly reduce drag, turbulence and buffeting, it guarantees more comfort and greater speed. Improves helmet stability at high speeds or when braking and reduces noise. Depending on the model adjustable in five different angles of attack to adapt to any driving position.
Visor
VAS Max Vision visor with De-Mist function
The VAS MAX Vision visor is standard to offer better visibility in every season and type of driving.
Visor closing system
Directly inherited from our F1 helmet, the visor opening-closing system works on three axes and in the locked position, seals the visor like never before. Lifting it with a simple gesture (even with gloves) it is possible to activate the de-mist function or open the visor completely.
Pinlock lens
Effectively prevents fogging and condensation on the visor, even in extremely humid conditions. It can be easily cleaned and replaced.
Interior
Interior in antibacterial material
They help maintain a neutral acidity level similar to that of human skin and have deodorant properties. For a more comfortable and smoother fit we have developed an even more delicate lining material. The interiors are also equipped with removable micro-padding on the temples and cheeks to further customize the fit.

The cheek pads can be easily removed. All interiors (even non-removable ones) can be washed with warm water and neutral soap. Rinse well after washing and never dry in direct sunlight or near heat sources. All removable interiors can be customized with different sizes / thicknesses to adapt perfectly to the user's head.

Speaker pockets
Integrated communication systems are very popular, but the problem is often that space for speakers is limited or simply not there, thus causing annoying pressure points on the ears. Featuring special speaker pockets, offering installation space without compromising on comfort or fit. (Speakers not included).
Facial Contour System (FCS)
To offer a further improved fit and increase comfort in the jaw area, the Facial Contour System (FCS) uses a foam support in the cheek pads that maximizes adherence, providing the necessary support without exerting excessive pressure.
5mm '' Peel Away '' earmuffs / cheek pads
To offer a greater possibility of creating the perfect fit and optimum comfort, the cheek pads feature a removable 5mm layer to add space if needed.

Comfort
Emergency Release System (ERS)
Allows easier access to the motorcyclist in the event of an accident. By pulling the orange tab integrated into the pads, the cheek pads are removed. This makes it easier for medical personnel and rescuers to remove the helmet and minimizes the risk of further injury.
Internal mask
It works together with the dual-pivot® air intake on the chin guard to better direct fresh air onto the inner surface of the visor while simultaneously directing the hot air emitted with your breath down and away from the inner surface of the visor.
